I’m always keen to pay with new, cheap, portable tech from China, and following some very positive reviews online, I picked up a AMNVOLT Mini SI4732 DSP Radio Receiver from AliExpress for just over £26 (shop link)

Firmware
The firmware supplied as starndard, v2.33 is pretty impressive, but several reviews point towards a firmware build by H. J. Berndt. This adds some impressive features such as a waterfall display, CW decoder, FM RDS and lots more.. Some links:
