Moving back to the UK (1 reply and 1 comment)
ultimate authority for that would be ofcom
but a simple question to the RSGB should give you the relevant answer
Thanks Peter, I will send them an email and ask. I would rather sell them if I have to rather than have them seized as an illegal import because of my own ignorance! 73's Drew KD9PBT

Hi all, I've been living in the States for the last 20 years, where I recently got my Technician's license, but am moving back to the UK in November. I intend to get my Foundation license as soon as I get home during my mandatory quarantine period. My question is.. Can I bring my Yaesu FT2DR and my Anytone 878 home with me? It goes without saying that obviously I can only listen until I get my Foundation, and in any case one can never operate outside of assigned bands for one's license class.
I am finding it really difficult to find any information online about this specific matter, so any help would be appreciated.
