144.725 French repeater input please be mindful (1 reply and 1 comment)
This is a french problem not ours if they are silly enough to put a 2m repeater on the coast of france within rf range of the uk & stick the input on our simplex allocation of the uk 2m bandplan then under lift conditions there asking for problems UK amateurs should not be told off for operating correctly under the UK 2m bandplan the fault of this lies with the french i'm afraid
Just being courteous really.

Today conditions are good again and will probably carry on until Thursday.
There are a lot of stations using 144.725 for simplex and they are being re broadcast onto the repeater output on 145.325.
I heard Kristian M0SSK remind people that they can be heard on the output as they were not aware and they did clear so many thanks to Kristian.
However a few minutes after and there were others having a QSO on the input, Conditions are so good that some chap down in Coventry was informing some local people here that they are on the input simplex! lol I could hear several stations on the input despite that people were still unaware that it was the repeater input.
