Morse Classes in Essex

“Dah-dit-dah-dit Dah-dah-dit-dah”

Morse code no longer forms part of the amateur radio exams, but at Foundation-level, candidates undertake a Morse appreciation practical – Morse is an important part of radio’s history, and it’s still very active 100 years on. Tuning around the HF bands, you’ll find a lot of Morse (or CW to its friends).

If the idea of being able to decode CW, or work a mode that works when voice just can’t get through, then consider attending a Morse class in Essex.

For those looking to get some on-air experience, Andy also operates slow Morse transmissions at 5, 7 and 10 words-per-minute on 3.550-3.560kHz +/-QRM at 8:15pm every Wednesday evening.
