Great. If you are interested in running a net, let me know what time and whereabouts, and I will add it to our net list and give it some promotion.
Pete
Hi Pete , do you any members of this group as c4fm radios or there is any node or gateway running ?
I use c4fm as often as I can, I use Kelvedon Hatch repeater, unfortunately it is Multi Mode so you have to await your turn to use it, so far what I have seen DStar is the dominant force there so it can be a rather long wait sometimes, Think I will have to invest in a Wires-x HRI-200 box, I have been on Hubnet on there and many U.S and Canada Rooms, nice talkative people on there
Hi Terry I got the same problem around Surrey . So I got my hri 200 and easy to install and play too
Thanks, looks like the way to go then, and as it's only going to be me using it I won't need that second radio that you require to be a gateway
Well my set up is main radio yeasu ftm 100d and yeasu ft 70d to use my gateway .
Anyway if you going to cq-uk website you can found all informations .
I won't use the Wires-x box as a gateway, I'll just use it with my single FTM 100DE, in the meantime I will just have to access cq-uk via my local DMR repeater. Cheers
There is always the sharkrf openspot though your fusion radio or ft 991 you can connect to your pc to see the rooms available i use ft100de and shark works well
I have JumboSpot on Pi Zero and there are maybe 5 UK rooms. Hardly can hear anyone. Not sure if different settings will improve it. Yet to test DMR on it.
