Hello and thank you for accepting me.. Im Nicola from Stoke on Trent…
I’m at the very start of my journey.. just signed up to do the course and ordered the book.. excited to learn..
When I’ve finished the course and hopefully passed my exam for my licence I’ll get myself a ham radio.. I know what I want to do with it so it’s just a case of searching and comparing I think..
Also.. if anyone here knows of a group close to Stoke on Trent please give me a shout.. I’m struggling to find any..

i am in Kent so fair distance from you, members are spread country wide and even further afield
can you elaborate on why you are looking for other members near you? is it for help and advise or the social side of things?
you say you know what you want to do once you pass foundation exa, it may be helpful to explain a little on that if you are looking for help
Pete M0PSX and his team have a great track record of getting people through the exam first time so you are in good hands, i passed first time 5 years ago with essex ham / hamtrain
its also worth looking at the RSGB “exam secrets” book (it covers all 3 levels with lots of extra questions and answers)
