Foundation exam software. Has anyone taken the exam on a Linux desktop? I have been made aware that I may need a windows computer to take the exam, due to one part of software that apparently won't download on Linux, does anyone have any knowledge/ experience with this ? Many thanks.

Thanks Pete passed my full exam today with 80% would not have considered it until i found Essex Hams Hamtrain foundation course, no need for a club and remote invigilation so 40 years after wanting to do my RAE, i have passed all 3 exams in just over 4 months starting with my foundation using Essex Hams foundation course what i would say to people starting out on the same journey, keep going and do the next levels, as they build on the previous level, so it is easier to do them in a shorter space of time than leave a long time in between them as you will need to learn the basics again intermediate is not a massive step up from foundation but full has a lot of electronic theory, RFI and licensing questions what to do now? i always wanted to do morse, so maybe that will be my next challenge birthdays coming up soon, hmm what shall i treat myself to for passing my full :)
