If you’re taking the amateur radio exam either in person, or online, photo ID is required by the RSGB.<\/p>\n

The reason that RSGB require a photo ID, is to prove that the person sitting the exam is the named person.<\/p>\n

If you don\u2019t have a passport or driving licence,\u00a0 other forms of photo ID are likely to be OK, even expired documents, but if in doubt, check with the examiners.<\/p>\n

Need photo ID? As you\u2019re probably aware, you now need photo ID to vote, see apply for voter photo ID<\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you really have no photo ID or are not sure if your ID will be acceptable, give the RSGB exam team a call on 01234 832 700 – they set the exams, and so they can confirm what they will and won’t accept.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t
