The team from SEARS, the South Essex Amateur Radio Society, were supporting Armed Forces Day over the weekend on Canvey Island.
The event took place on Saturday the 27th of June 2015, and was the fourth Armed Forces event at The paddocks Community Centre on Canvey Island
The amateur radio display attracted a large number of visitors, and included a demonstration of Morse code, the opportunity to listen to HF radio, and to find out more about amateur radio and SEARS.
The stand was also visited by former members of Lancaster bomber crews, plus local MP Rebecca Harris:
