Many thanks to all those who contacted GB0HL on Saturday. I was involved with Manning the HF station oand we had a steady stream of contacts, mostly 40 MTRS CW, first time I had been on the receiving end of a pile up on CW, very challenging. Salim M0XTD was very pleased with the contacts he made on 2mtrs and I am sure he will write a report on level of activity etc But was great day from an amazing location, just wish we had a permanent station set up there. The station was run by members of Norfolk Amateur Radio Club.
Rodney G0CBO.
Was great to hear so much activity on 2 metres FM. :) Yes 135ft asl right next to the sea brilliant location. Pleased that you worked a lot on both bands. Many thanks to the Norfolk club for making it all possible. And also the hard work operating from you and Selim. Will look forward to next year and any other events at great locations, I worked 4 light houses on Saturday on VHF but have to say working Happisburgh was very enjoyable and my favourite.
